We are supporting a pioneering digital health company at the forefront of transforming how heart failure is detected and managed.

Their proprietary technology applies advanced machine learning to non-invasive patient data, enabling earlier detection of deterioration than traditional methods. With strong clinical validation, international trials, and recognition from global regulatory bodies, they are entering an exciting phase of scaling and commercialisation.

Their remote monitoring platform is already being used by clinicians and patients across Europe and the United States, with ambitions to redefine the standard of care in cardiovascular medicine.

They are now looking for a Scientific Founder’s Associate to work directly with the founders, particularly the Chief Medical Officer, on high-impact clinical, scientific, and strategic initiatives.

This is a highly visible, founder-adjacent role offering broad exposure across clinical research, product development, AI validation, and company strategy within a fast-paced startup environment.

Responsibilities:

Founder & Strategic Support

· Work directly with founders on high-priority clinical, scientific, and strategic initiatives

· Contribute to company-level thinking across research, product, and growth

· Support cross-functional execution on key business priorities

Clinical & Scientific Development

· Support and help shape evidence generation strategy across clinical trials and real-world studies

· Contribute to protocol design, endpoint definition, and interpretation of clinical data

· Collaborate with R&D and data science teams to validate AI models and translate findings into product improvements

Scientific Communication

· Draft and co-author publications, abstracts, and conference materials

· Translate complex clinical and scientific insights into clear narratives for clinicians, partners, and investors

· Support broader medical communication and thought leadership efforts

Cross-Functional Collaboration

· Work closely with internal teams and global clinical partners across leading institutions

· Support regulatory and grant-related workstreams where required

· Engage with key stakeholders across clinical, product, and scientific domains

Required:

· MD, PhD, or comparable background in medicine, clinical sciences, or a related field

· 1–4 years of relevant experience (medicine, consulting, research, digital health, or medical devices)

· Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills

· Excellent written and verbal communication abilities

· Strong interest in digital health, AI, and clinical research

· Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-ownership startup environment
Willingness to be based in Berlin

Strong Plus:

· Experience in cardiology or heart failure

· Exposure to startups, consulting, venture capital, or founder-adjacent roles

· Publication or abstract writing experience

· Familiarity with GCP, ISO 14155, MDR, FDA, or medical device evidence generation

· Exposure to the U.S. healthcare system
