The role:
Talent Transformation Lead - San Francisco
For a leading AI productivity suite, we are seeking a senior Talent Transformation Lead to act as the day‑to‑day owner of US Talent Acquisition in San Francisco, evolving the recruiting engine through a major rebrand, new AI product launches, and rapid North America growth. The ideal consultant will increase interview capacity, maintain a high hiring bar as requisitions rise, and partner closely with global recruiting and People leadership to set the organisation up for long‑term success across people, process, and tooling.
What you’ll do:
Lead and own the rec2rec hiring initiative, ensuring the company’s internal talent and people teams are built ahead of demand.
Design and execute the end‑to‑end recruiting strategy for US roles, from intake and scorecards through sourcing, interviewing, and offers.
Partner with executive and people leadership to prioritise roles, align on bar, and sequence hiring around product launches and organisational changes.
Drive recruiting process and operating‑model improvements, standardising structured loops, exercises, calibration, and stakeholder cadence.
Advise on talent org structure and capability build‑out, including how to scale the team and when to add specialised recruiting support.
Expand and refine time‑zone‑aligned support for US hiring managers, removing load from senior leaders who are currently covering recruiting.
Optimise tooling and systems (ATS and adjacent tools), advising what to use and how to implement for speed, visibility, and data‑driven decisions.
Build repeatable playbooks for high‑volume role families while protecting depth and rigour for critical senior and specialist hires.
What you bring:
Senior Talent / People leadership background with recent hands‑on ownership of full‑cycle hiring, not just team management.
Proven experience transforming talent functions and upgrading processes, assessment frameworks, and operating models in fast‑changing environments.
Strong RPO or consulting experience preferred, bringing a builder mindset and comfort switching between strategy and execution.
Experience in SaaS, tech, or other product‑led companies, ideally from high‑quality environments similar to modern, design‑led or AI‑driven platforms.
Ability to operate independently in ambiguity: detail‑oriented, and able to step in fast, drive clarity, and personally carry a meaningful requisition load.
