Broadcast Technician - 6 Month FTC
Chapter 2 provides technologists to our customers to accelerate innovation and drive their business forward. Specializing in staff augmentation, we embed top-tier technology talent with companies seeking agility, expertise, and seamless integration into existing teams.
We are building a Broadcasting and Video team for one of Europe's largest e-commerce companies and hiring multiple analysts on a full-time, 6-month Fixed-Term Contract (FTC) basis.
You will be responsible for the majority of our team's post-production. This means filing assets and ensuring they are structured and disciplined. You will also guide stakeholders through the editing process to deliver exceptional content.
The Role
- Participate as either a vision mixer or camera operator in the pre-production/production of multi-camera live streams or pre-recorded productions for our internal stakeholders.
- Setting up and testing equipment, coordinating and arranging with stakeholders, and executing the recordings to the highest standard.
- Develop and maintain documentation of broadcasting solutions for the team and stakeholders.
- Occasional design and update “How To” for Zalando employees. Some stakeholder training or support might be required.
- Investigate new solutions to provide the latest technological capabilities.
About You
- Highly skilled editor using DaVinci Resolve (preferred), Apple FCPX or Adobe Premiere Pro.
- Highly skilled camera operator, understanding aperture, ISO, shutter speed, codecs, log/raw, lenses and lighting.
- Experience as a vision mixer using tools like VMIX, Newtek’s Tricaster or Blackmagic Atem switchers within a corporate environment.
- Experience as a videographer shooting and editing corporate content.
- Skilled at colour correcting and grading: log and raw footage.
- Basic knowledge of motion graphics using DaVinci Fusion or Adobe’s After Effects is a plus.
- Experience working collaboratively with other teams on live and recorded video productions.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills. Build and maintain strong relationships and collaborate with multiple internal and external partners.
