Over the past four years, we have achieved tremendous growth in the DACH region, working with leading clients such as Zalando, Wayfair, Onu Energy, Birkenstock, Grammarly, Maersk, and many others. As we continue our rapid expansion, we are looking for a dynamic and experienced Managing Director for the DACH region to lead this exciting phase of growth and success.
This is a unique opportunity to shape the future of Chapter 2 in the DACH region by driving the business forward, with the goal of increasing revenue by >200% in the coming years. The Managing Director will be a key member of the Executive Team and report directly to the Founder and CEO.

What You’ll Do
Strategic & Commercial Leadership
• Full P&L responsibility for the DACH region, with a focus on achieving significant growth over the next few years (200%+).
• Develop and execute the regional growth strategy, ensuring alignment with Chapter 2’s overall goals.
• Identify new business opportunities, win new clients, and expand relationships with existing customers.
• Lead the development of client partnerships, delivering exceptional talent and employer branding solutions and positioning Chapter 2 as a trusted leader in our industry.
Team Leadership & Development
• Lead, inspire, and develop a high-performing team of Business Development, Account Directors, and Talent Teams working onsite with clients.
• Foster a culture that attracts top talent, ensuring Chapter 2 becomes the most attractive long-term employer in the industry.
• Create opportunities for team members to grow their careers within the company, promoting a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
Operational & Legal Management
• Act as the Managing Director for the German entity, including legal representation and ensuring compliance with regional regulations.
• Oversee operational functions, ensuring seamless delivery of talent and recruitment solutions across the region.
Collaboration & Global Strategy
• Work closely with peers in other regions to shape the global strategy, product offerings, and solution delivery.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of the company’s solutions, capabilities, and market presence, positioning Chapter 2 as the most successful firm in the Talent industry.
Who You Are
• A commercially driven leader with significant experience in a senior leadership role, ideally within a high-growth, fast-paced environment.
• Proven track record of driving revenue growth, leading teams, and managing P&L in a competitive marketplace.
• Strong understanding of the recruitment and talent acquisition industry, particularly within the DACH market.
• Strategic mindset with the ability to balance hands-on operational responsibilities and long-term planning.
• Excellent communicator with the ability to engage stakeholders, lead teams, and manage complex client relationships.
• Fluent in German and English, with strong regional market knowledge.
